Product Design
From the first messy idea to a polished interface.

I’m a designer and frontend engineer in Kathmandu, and co-founder of Aurora Studios.
Three-odd years of this now: designing interfaces, then building them. Figma in one window, React in the other.
The part I like best is taking something half-explained in a chat and having it exist a few weeks later.
How I got here

I started with design because I liked figuring out how things should look and feel. Then I got curious about what happened after the design was finished. So I learned to code.
Now I do both — designer and engineer, moving between Figma and the browser, thinking about the experience and the implementation together.
I care about clear interfaces, good typography, thoughtful interactions, and products that don’t make people work harder than they need to.
And I work better with music on.
From the first messy idea to a polished interface.
Taking a good design and making it work in the real world.
The full thing. If you need someone who can think through the product, design it, and then actually build it, that’s where I come in.
Make it useful before making it pretty.
Polish on top of a confusing flow is just a better-looking confusing flow.
If you can build it, you design it differently.
Knowing what a decision costs to implement changes which decision you make.
The tiny details are usually not tiny.
Empty states, error messages, the loading moment — that’s most of the experience.
